New Ship - Teaser —Paul Hartzog
The Narwhal is a fuels and chemicals supply ship. You usually see them cirling around in orbital shipyards, going from ship to ship refilling various tanks for their customers. It is outfitted with a universal nozzle on the front end and a variety (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Ship - Teaser —Mark Sandlin
(...) That is really awesome, Paul. Excellent SNOT. If you're using Photoshop, might I suggest that you check out the "Levels" command? You can use it to brighten up photos without washing them out. Here is an example I showed Chris the other day: (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Ship - Teaser —Mike Petrucelli
(...) I have to agree. This is one of the coolest looking ships I have seen for while. Maybe I misunderstood its purpose, but shouldn't a re-fueler have much larger tanks. Of course that would probably detract from the model rather than making it (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

           Re: liquid spamcake —Chris Giddens
(...) Is this anything like the Spreadable Spamcake that is tasty on crackers and will strip the paint off a space cruiser? mmmm, spamcake crackers Paul, all this stuff you've put up today is excellent!! Good to have ya buildin' again! (URL) Admiral (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Ship - Teaser —Bram Lambrecht
(...) Levels does far more than that...in fact I think it's more useful for midtones than for shadows. By adjusting the middle triangle, you can change leave the blacks black, the whites, white, and mess with everything inbetween. The equivalent (...)           Re: Bram is a hoser —Bram Lambrecht
(...) Fine! I hadn't really decided how I felt about it yet...but here goes :) I like it because the shape is unique. It looks like an oil can or something with a cockpit tacked on top and some engines added to the back, which is precisely the (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Ship - Teaser —Philip Painter
(...) It looks great, Paul. I really like the pragmatic, almost-clunky-industrial look to it. And as always: your SNOT astounds. I love to see uses for parts I normally consider clutter in my bins. You excel at that. Concerning the aforementioned (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Ship - Teaser —Paul Baulch
(...) I don't usually reply to teasers, but the long 2-stud-wide blank strip along the side just bugs me too much. Would you consider putting something there?
