    New vs. Old —Nathan Wells
(...) I get the impression you 'old-timers' (the first 500 or so people to join LUGNET) don't like us 'young whippersnappers' invading .space. Just my two cents, (URL) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New vs. Old —Trevor Pruden
(...) It's not like that at all. I assure you, most of us don't even realize the ages of the people we talk to in this group. Half of us are under the age of 18 probably. We really don't care about ages here. Or titles for that matter. Like others (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New vs. Old —Mike Petrucelli
(...) I certainly hope that is not the case. I have been a reader/poster since the decline of readership from the older newsgroup RTL. I don't know if that classifies me as an 'old-timer' or not compared to some others. Anyway, I don't have a (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New vs. Old —Bram Lambrecht
(...) I think it's not so much a matter of old-timers vs. newbies as it is a matter of signal to noise ratio.          Re: New vs. Old —Trevor Pruden
(...) Hey, you just made a good point, Bram. Is my FTX sig too big or a pain? Just some feedback. I know this was not directed specifically at me, but I'm just curious since I started to use this feature only a couple of days ago. Yes, my posts are (...)          Re: New vs. Old —Gil Shaw
(...) As well as being one who rocks, Anne is a total class act. Take a look at not only her posts for her own MOC's (which are amazing), look at her comments and critiques on other's posts and models. She offers compliments, suggests improvements (...)         Re: New vs. Old —Duane Hess
(...) Well, you are entitled to your opinion. I don't think being a LUGNET© member has anything to do with being an "old timer".
