Originally there were hoses from the knees to the back of the thigh area, but it restricted the posability. I have to marvel at how those mecha guys get these (...) | | | | | Very cool, Gil. The legs really work well with the cockpit- its hard to make an armless mech that looks right. The use of the dish and round brick design for the hips also is nice. | | | | | | Thanks John! You nailed it with the notice of the oversized hips. I found I had to puff them out a bit to make up for the lack of upper appendages. Some of the design is inspired from the Zetradi mechs of Robotech Macross, smooshed together with (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

| | | | | That's a nifty little Mech you built there. It reminds me of my SM-388 robot I built a while back only this is 10 times better. I like what you did with the hip joints. Looks very good. Actually, I first had the thought to do this mech after I built the Bodkin fighter using the JSF canopy and 'miniboat hull' wedges. With a workable (...) Custodians a way to get as many troops to the trouble as possible with overwhelming force. The small wing nose piece finally made this canopy useful (...)
