New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Jeff Jardine
Three small new MOCs: The Blueshifter is a 60's style (2160's, that is) single-seat personal transport. It's retro styling and oversized thrusters make it popular among the street-racing crowd: (URL) Chariot is a short-range fighter, used by a (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Gil Shaw
(...) done it using an unconventional design and pieces...the rubber band holder as engine is great!!! (...) Haven't read the book, so I can really comment but it looks pretty nifty. Reminds me a little of the Duplo mini speeder of Jon's. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Jeff Jardine
(...) Thanks! I wanted to use the rubber band holder for something and the sunroof as a windshield, and this is the result. Jeff J (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Jeff Jardine
(...) Thanks Andrew. It's yet another MOC where I insisted on using those technic links. I found out that it takes at least three oriented in the same plane to hold something firmly in place. Jeff J (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Sean Devolites
(...) The police car scene is cool. (before I ask on all of them, HLDITY to build all of them?) (...) Just to let you know, the folder number is wrong for the flycycle. I fixed it on this post though. Keep up the good work! Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Jeff Jardine
(...) Oops - thanks Sean. The Blueshifter took about 4 hours, the Chariot took about 6 hours, and the flycycle about an hour. I'm a very slow builder :) Jeff J (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Jonathan Mizner
(...) Nice flycycle...I pictured the spheres being a bit bigger, but I guess they would have had to be that size to fit through the airlock... Nice MOCs! (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Matt Sekerak
(...) interpretation nonetheless. After your initial post I considered doing a flycycle myself, but I couldn't think of a way to express the field encircling the pilot. -Matt (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOCs: Blueshifter, Chariot, Flycycle —Jeff Jardine
(...) It's an interesting exercise to build something based on a short text description. I didn't even consider incorporating the sonic fold... it would be quite a challange to represent a large, spherical, transparent field out of Lego! Here are (...)
