It started as Paul Hartzog's Space Station idea, and I believe I was the
first one to suggest we lay the idea down into a base, but I'm not certain.

It sounds like a groovy idea. Should there be a standard size, or should
whoever makes the table (one of the guys over at classic-space.com will
likely take care of that) just have the images resized? We ought to have a
standard-ish size so that there's not too much pixellation.
A difficulty may come in rotating the individual images so that all the
passages line up. If some enterprising young programming soul were to write
some sort of program that would allow you to drag 'n' drop and rotate any
image into any orientation so you could make your own moonbase layout, that
would be amazingly cool, but I have serious doubts of the ease of
programming a monstrosity like that.
