    futuron —Nan Zhou
This was probably the best sub-theme ever. One thing that's weird though is that there are over 15 appearances by the yellow futuron minifig and only 2 by the red and black ones, the two red ones in the same set. What's up with that? And also does (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

        Re: futuron —Mike Petrucelli
(...) Well 3 if you count the mini-fig pack, it has one of each and 2 Blacktron 1 figs. If only we could still buy them I'd get... uh SEVERAL HUNDRED of them. Literally. If I had the funding back then, o boy. Now that I have the funding Lego makes (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

         Re: futuron —Nan Zhou
I really think that the old sub-themes should be released but since TLG is full of s***, I don't think that will ever happen. By the way, does anyone have any old complete futuron sets they wanna sell? (...) by (...) trade? (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

           Re: futuron —Nan Zhou
A little off topic, but now I finally figured out why TLG makes POOPs! Because lego's are interchangeable, lego fears that its customer will just buy some cheap basic sets and use the instructions to build the more expensive models. POLL: Which was (...)       (...) I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Lunar Launch Site (with the 2 red figs) for $35 last summer. And no, I'm not selling it ;) I love the red Futuron figs :) -Tim (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 (24 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Red is My favorite color. I only have one red Futron fig though. I use him as the Admiral, Commader in Chief of the Galatic Confederation. -Lord Insanity My Lego Page (URL) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

          Re: futuron —Nan Zhou
Here are some ranks that I have proposed for the futuron figs that correlate to their colors and their rarity. I also included the dacta figs in the 9355 set. Yellow: Trooper Red and Green (dacta): Specialist Yellow and Black (dacta): Science (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

          Re: futuron —Tim Courtney
(...) Within Zacktron, I believe I just use the different colors to mean different job functions - like ST:TNG. I use epaulets for ranks - gold and red signify admirals (depending on uniform color and subtheme basis) I do have a red Futuron admiral, (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

           Re: Futuron —Scott Edward Sanburn
Tim, (...) Heh, a man after my own heart! I used the colors like ST:TNG as well! I use the epaulets for senior officers.         Re: futuron —Susan Hoover
(...) Having read about 10 messages in this thread, I can't believe that no one has explained the lack of red figs.         Re: futuron —Scott Edward Sanburn
(...) I don't know why either, I got my red one from the minifig pack, it was always interesting to wonder why that is. Maybe LC (TLG, TLC, LG, LC, etc.) had a special ranking system, and they decided to scatter them around. I wonder what the ratio (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

        Re: futuron —Lindsay Frederick Braun

This is one that had my friends and I scratching our then-preadolescent heads way back when too, and just when we thought we'd figured it out, the introduction of minifig packs really threw off any attempt at calculation.    (...) See, now I have a completely different distribution of Classic Space 'figs. My collection started in '78, (with a sticker-torso red, but I digress) and I collected until about 1986 or so.         Re: futuron —Lindsay Frederick Braun
Hi, (...) Yeah, I added white epaulettes to mine and made them officers, and one has a Spyrius droid head.
