Cool MOC, Allen! I especially like the simplicity of the buggy/rover.
The idea of using variant colors in a Classic Space inspired model seems
fine to me too. It almost makes me think that *this* is what Classic Space
might have developed into if the other sub-themes never came along: various
alternate color schemes for different aspects of Classic Space society. We
had gray-blue for exploration & research, you offer yellow-black for heavy
industry. Maybe there could be others for the catagories of food
production, civilian commerce, residential, etc.?
This is originally how I tried to incorporate the later sub-themes in my
collection, viewing the Futuron colors as civilian colonial, M-Tron as a
mining faction, SP1 as police/light military, and SP2 as heavy military.
But after a while there were sub-themes that didn't fit my story plans, so
that's as far as I got with the idea...
Anyway, great job!

| What happens when you mix classic space styling with construction themed colors? Have a look at the 'Mining Outpost' to see the results: (URL) was how I spent my Canada Day last week. :) All the best, Allan B. - Expert Builder website - (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)
