    Question about scale —Thomas Jost
Hello all! I have a question on scales: what exactly does microfig scale mean? Is this just any scale smaller than minifig? I'm wondering because I'm working on a huge battleship in something that is what you call microfig... Regards Thomas (23 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Question about scale —Alexander Johnston
(...) Well, the way I understand it is that a "Minifig" scale models are models where the scale is large enough to accommodate lego figurines.         Re: Question about scale —Jon Palmer
Hey Thomas. Sorry I never got back to you in email. I personally use the word "microfig" as an umbrella term that absorbs all of the other smaller then minifig scales. So on one level (disregarding technicfig scale for the moment) there could be 2 (...) (23 years ago, 27-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

What about Macrofig? Sets that are too big for minifig but too small for technicfig, like the Blockade Runner or should also have a designation. Dave. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Question about scale —Jeremy Scott
(...) To be honest, the RBR is about 2 to 3 times smaller that minifig scale, it should be much bigger. I would consider this a big microfig or something inbetween micro and system. Jeremy Scott xpost to .starwars (23 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Question about scale —William Swanberg
I would have to agree there. My current project is a minifig-scale 688-class attack submarine. Life size is 360 feet in length, MOC is coming out to just under 10 feet long (and using an inordinate amount of gray slopes in the process...). Bill "Jon (...)
