Hey guys.  My m-wing was just added to FBTB.

http://www.fbtb.net/jon/alpha.html

A few construction notes:

This ship does not have an M shape because I wanted one of the ships to be
smaller than an A-wing.  I figured M would be a good letter for this,
(micro) and the fact that I still have "W" to use for the shape.
This ship is small but it took just as much time to build as the others.  It
was a challenge to work with the angled sides of the canopy and still get
the ship as small as I could.
Also, happy meals are cool. :-)

I've been a bit hung up on "N" and "O" but I should have them both ready by
friday.

Please tell me what you think.

-Jon

(...) Jon, I'm starting to fear and loath you. :) Why? Because I bought a bunch of those McDonald's Turaga in burnt-orange and tan with PRECISELY THAT ARRAY OF FOOT PIECES IN MIND. Yet, your execution makes my primitive jumble of grey and (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Again, excellent work. I hear you on trying to make a small ship but at the same time making it diffrent and unique. I was wondering where you got those mid section technic pieces. Now I know they were those happy meal lego that I missed (I was in (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Cool! I think you definitely achieved your goal of a little ship. I really like the use of the bionicle for the engines. Hmm, first cockpits, now engines, maybe that bionicle stuff isn't as useless as I thought. <snip (...) -Jason +---...---+ (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Cool ship. To me it seems like it would be the rebel equivalent of the U2 spyplane or somethign. All your other alphabet ships are pretty cool as well. (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

I love seeing unconvetional uses for unconventional pieces. This is one of the best examples of this I have seen yet for Bionicle bits. I have enjoyed all of your alphabet project ships, and look forward to seeing what you come up with for the rest (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Those are excellent. I look forward toward seeing some of the tougher wing fighters like the Z-wing and the Q-wing in the future. :) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) This is a beautiful little ship. Excellent SNOT work, and I like how you used the Buy-onicle parts in an unusual manner. I especially like the fact that the canopy is hinged. LEGO seems to have decided that hinging canopies isn't important (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Mmmm, orange. :-p And I love the new cocpits! I need to finish my moc that uses that one (but it's quite a bit larger!) Nice work, and good job showing us that Buy-all-icle only sucks a litte, not alot. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Excellent, excellent stuff. Very creative! It's easy to imagine almost all of your alphabet ships as part of the SW universe. This series has been the best thing to hit .starwars for a long time. My favourites so far are the D- and F-wings. (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)
