had no helmet visors, I don't know. I just love the few sets I have.

Think of ot this way, before Sar Wars and Battlestar Gallactica, movie and TV
spaceships were smooth and airplane like, just like Classic Space. Now with
this "you don't need wings in space" theory, well thinks have become more
greebled.

How many of us remember this?

GREG~

Too greeble or not to greeble? I ask you...

I wouldn't say that it is more interesting or anything. In fact what it is I
can't put my finger on. I think the classic space stuff is just plain cool.
Actually, I don't like steamlined spaceships as much, I spose because they
lack realism (and I'm still coming to terms with the classic space ships).

And greebles are good. Although I do believe one can put too much greebles,
I also believe that at least some are required in order to give the model a
technical, futuristic feel. It's all about creating a happy medium :)

Over the years and especially whilst on Lugnet, I have begun to notice many
of the elements of a good design, especially with factors such as model
cleanliness (amount of greebles), colour schemes, engines, etc. and found
that they are all about creating a happy medium...

There's my 2c
