  New MOC: Schlafen class escort
 
Please don't ask where the name came from. I really don't know (in fact, I don't know where any of my ship names come from.. =) ) Anyhow, I built this ship a long time ago out of the Trade Federation ATT. A lot of the pictures I took of it have (...) (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) In German, it's the verb "to sleep." I'm not sure what implication this has for your ship. (...) I like the earth-tones, and the use of the brown and dark grey together is quite effective. Have you considered photographing your creations on a (...) (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.space)

Hehe, you're right! Now I remember why I named it the Schlafen class escort. It was meant to imply that the ship caused a lot of people/aliens to sleep, permanently. I came up with the name months ago, forgot why I named it that, and forgot that (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.space)

Heh, yeah, I SHOULD use a sheet or cardboard or something.. Though I've been too lazy to do it yet. =) Something is really weird with my camera though. Auto-focus seems to work a LOOO...OOOT better with flash on. I took a bunch of pictures with the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.space)

Actually, I can explain the focusing effect. The more light you use, the smaller the aperture you can use, and the smaller the aperture, the better depth of field. Depth of field just refers to the range (in distance from the camera) that appears in (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.space)
