Actually, just about everything (that is out of the norm of what we see
in everyday life) falls into the "Fantasy" category. Now that I finally
have some down time I've been catching up on two+ years worth of Realms
of Fantasy magazine. The editorials and articles in the magazine
strongly advocate the idea that Fantasy does NOT equal
Swords/Sorcery/and Monsters. It definitely includes such things, but
that is not the full of it. Fantasy encompasses those events, past,
present and future, that are out of the ordinary and take the
reader/observer someplace they most likely wouldn't get to on their own.
But to answer the Lego question, I think it would be considered an
offshoot of Town System, with a dash of sourcery thrown in for good
measure.

| (...) Hmmmmm, I am pretty sure that "Harry Potter" takes place in our times. They have cars and everything. Sounds like it could have been in the 1970's+ Maybe the books would release a date in one chapter.... I am pretty sure its in our time (...)
