  National Parks of Mars (MOC)

Hello all, I have been working on this one for a while. Several years of work and nearly finished, but though I would post it now and just update the pictures as i finish it. This is what I think a park would be if it were built on mars. Although (...) (16 years ago, 25-Oct-08, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build)

TexLUG at Maker Faire Austin 2008

TexLUG was invited to participate at Maker Faire 2008 in Austin, Texas this past weekend. We're not the first LUG to display at Maker Faire, but this was our first time, and we walked away with not one but two "Editor's Choice" awards for our (...)   Space Skulls inventory question 10192

Hello, Can anyone help with the color of the main elements in this set? Are they white or light bluish grey? Specifically, the 1x3 curved slopes? I can't find an inventory on peeron or bricklink. Thanks, Jonathan (16 years ago, 21-Oct-08, to lugnet.inv, lugnet.space)

  Eb'Cafl MOC

Friends keep telling me that I should go back to posting my MOCs here again, so I'll give it a shot. I built this thing for a display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum back in the spring of 2006. It kept getting damaged in transit to (...)   Re: OSS Pontbriand - S.H.I.P.

(...) Cool! This is definately a unique ship. I like the exterior a lot. Both the shape and the details are interesting. (16 years ago, 7-Oct-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Spectre" Starfighter

Hey Andrew, This is really nice! It has the feel of a Lego set, and the landing gear are especially well done! Nice use of the X-Wing nose piece too! Great work! Dave S. (16 years ago, 5-Oct-08, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

  "Spectre" Starfighter

Check out the "Spectre" (URL) This is my 1st attempt at making a starfighter with a fixed swept-forward wing design. It probably comes off more as a futuristic jet than a starfighter. It features 2 laser cannons, 4 missiles, & retractable landing (...) (16 years ago, 4-Oct-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space) !

  Re: Stingray- Aquatic Strike Mecha

(...) Nicely understated, and a very nice concept. I like the fluidity of the design, and it is great to see a sub MOC again. I'm cross posting to .aquazone to celebrate. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (16 years ago, 2-Oct-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Hey all, A big blast of nostalgia for all you Spacers out there! I present Space Police I; re-tooled and expanded with new parts and a few new colors for stylin' flair! (URL) Enjoy with doughnuts and coffee! Dave S. (16 years ago, 29-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Dark Side of the Moonbase

(...) Being a Rock Music fan myself, one (of many) detail I like with your moc is of course the 'axes' of the Rock band =) (16 years ago, 28-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Strange object discovered on Mars!!

(...) Maybe! First, before they can expand their search to other parts of Mars or Earth, Master Control will have to deploy more equipment and astronauts to possibly determine the origin of this or if there are any others like it in the solar (...) (16 years ago, 26-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Strange object discovered on Mars!!

(...) Very nice! ...One might argue this is not a "monolith" as you say, but a megalith, as it has more than one column. There's also an interesting swastika shape from overhead - though to put aside any fears of Nazism, I'd point out that symbol (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Strange object discovered on Mars!!

A strange object was discovered on Mars by astronauts during a routine patrol on the far side of the planet. Who built it, when it was built and why all remain a mystery... Here's an overall view of the first astronauts on the scene. (URL) This is a (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Dark Side of the Moonbase

When you name it "Dark Side of the Moonbase" and suggest to turn on some music, I thought it would be Pink Floyd music, and your MOC a tribute to Rick Wright, keyboard player of the band, who recently went away (R.I.P) Anyway, a nice MOC. Can't say (...) (16 years ago, 25-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Four new MINI models from the Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica Universe

Heehee, okay, I agree, those are not among the more impressive ones and are rather simple. I hope to post more tricky stuff soon. ;-) Cheers, Chris (16 years ago, 24-Sep-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)
