  Spacemen off duty

Q. What do spacemen do on their days off? A. Train spotting of course. Full story is here (URL) video here (URL) (17 years ago, 11-Aug-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spacebrick

(...) Very cool. The extending Moonbase compatible docking mechanism/airlock is well executed. Lots of exterior and interior details keep you looking at the pics. I agree with Marc that the interior looks very playable. I could see this style done (...) (17 years ago, 9-Aug-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Spacebrick

(...) Just outstanding. The Spacebrick has possibly the best interior I've seen on a Space MOC. So detailed, but it's all functional (and playable!). The exterior is great, too. The overlapping stripes and missing panels give it a feeling of depth (...) (17 years ago, 9-Aug-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Spacebrick

I posted this at Classic Space ((URL)) last week, but thought I'd toss it out here too. (URL) This is the space RV, SolarTrekker, more commonly known affectionately as the Spacebrick or The Incredible Flying Shoebox. I have a little more background (...) (...) Echo, echo, echo.... Actually I too would like to see some better detail of this. (17 years ago, 3-Aug-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 13

(...) Hello. Is this thing on? (17 years ago, 3-Aug-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 13

(...) How come I only see one picture of this? You made the effort to create a montage of 13 pictures (cute), but don't let us see all 13, unprocessed, pictures? What's up with that? (17 years ago, 1-Aug-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mech Bay 13

(...) Great Mech Bay! One of the best, for sure. That mech looks pretty special too (and nice use of ratlines!) and blue is a nice colour choice against the black bay - any chance of some pics of it outside the bay? Cheers Richie Dulin (17 years ago, 1-Aug-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

Hey Doug, Welcome back! As others have noted, there has been a proliferation of groups out there. With each new group there has been a renewed discussion of whether or not this is a good thing. As an admin and major poster at Classic-Castle, I'm (...) (17 years ago, 24-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Yep! I believe this graph is in posts per week: (URL) have some data on FBTB, classic-castle, and classic-space as well, but it's quasi-out-of-date as well (Jul 4 2006 - Mar 1 2007). The ballpark estimates (posts per week) from that period (...) (17 years ago, 24-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) I must confess that about 13000 of those are my posts. What can I say, I'm a blabbermouth. Aaron (17 years ago, 24-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Hi Jim I can't answer for anybody but myself, but the reason I joined CSF (besides the fact that my lugnet account was screwed up at the moment) is that it's so much easier to join and use: you don't have to find the well hidden free (...) (17 years ago, 15-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Oh, baby, (URL) does it ever!>:-) I use my LUGNET NG as our web site. No jumping ship, here! (...) One might say that LUGNET is a victim of its own success. It brought us all together, and all of the little sects got together and formed boards (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Hi, John. A name I remember. Thanks for the welcome. I trust your train collection continues to thrive and grow? (...) I suspected as much after looking through the archives, checking the traffic report, and visiting classic-space.com. I (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) Ahh, well that's a good question to which I haven't the answer. My guess would be that a few of the ringleaders wanted more control over the direction and tone of the NG and the rest just followed the leaders like the mindless lemmings that (...)   Re: Back after 5 years - trying to catch up

(...) My question was about the reasons for the alluded exodus from .space, of course, not about the content of your post. Jim (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
