  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(...) Thanks Jeff! At first I had a full layer of bricks between the plates on the big ship, but when I was working on the detachable ship I made the wings with just the one layer of plates and BOOM, another V-8 moment! (...) I'm not totally happy (...) (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(...) I did forget to comment on the ship, didn't I? For the most part, I like it. The colors are, of course, very good for a Classic Space creation. :-) I really like the detachable ship and the way that the two compartments seal after separation. (...)   Re: MOC: ZombieTron "Just when you thought it was safe to put on a pressure suit!"

(...) What a wonderfully hideous MOC! I'd love to see more, but the link doesn't seem to work for me. Delightfully yucky color scheme, of course, and the teeth really put it over the top. Dave! (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Great update of a true classic! Sweet! Great job! (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.space)

Re: MOC: ZombieTron "Just when you thought it was safe to put on a pressure suit!"

That's demented in all the best ways... awesome as a reinterpretation of the beloved 928, and a great payoff with the top view picture at the bottom of your page for it. (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: MOC: ZombieTron "Just when you thought it was safe to put on a pressure suit!"

Really funny MOC. The big blood tank is especially effective, and I like the use of legs in the railings a lot. Btw, you misspelled the link. (URL) Here is the proper link.> Bruce (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Beware, brave spacefarers! The unforgiving vacuum of space hides even more unforgiving ZOMBIES!! (URL) Enjoy with sweetbreads! Dave S. (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.adventurers, FTX) !!

Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

I love the posable fingers! It has a great retro vibe to it. Well done, Jaimie - even though I couldn't say its entire name in one breath: 'Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7©®'. Do you mind if I just call it the (...)   Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(...) (URL) Thanks, Nathan! After reading the other replies, I finally understood my error. I was typing correctly, but I'd negelected to select FTX from the Format menu. Dave S. (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(URL) (...) Thanks, Bryan! I realized after reading all the responses that I was using the right formatting, but I had never paid attention to the Format selection! BTW, what did you think of the ship? :-) Dave S. (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(...) Aaaah, there it is! I thought I had to use some special characters as opposed to changing the Format setting (which I've never used before!). Thanks, Jeff! BTW, what did you think of the ship? :-) Dave S. (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(...) I set my reply to use "Formatted text (FTX)" and your picture shows up just fine, so your formatting is o.k. You just forgot to set your posting to use "Formatted text (FTX)". Jeff (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

(...) I think what you've written is fine, but it appears that your message has been written in a Plain text format rather than FTX. If you post from lugnet itself through a web browser, there's a dropdown menu that allows you to select between (...) (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Super Galaxy Explorer

Looking good! (I can't view it through the sentimental eyes of a spacer so I may have missed a lot ; ) As for the FTX (warning advice from a man not to be trusted near a computer): I use this the reference card found (URL) here> and just follow it (...) Hey all, Yet another project I've lying around for months that I've finally photographed. I hope you enjoy my blast from the blast! (URL) I am just not getting how FTX works! Totally neat build! For what you set out to build, you did great hitting the mark on your goals. Gotta love that name! Seeing all the great use of parts is fun to see on this. Thanks! - Eric (18 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: The Quantum Super Thunder Galactic Robo Fighter: Atomictron 7

(...) Hey Jamie! Absolute slam-bang nostalgic beauty and coolness! I'm mushy with childhood flashbacks! The proportions, the colors, the studlessness, aces all around!   Re: MOC: KnightHawk - a dino-raptor medieval space beast

(...) Heh, you haven't been there in awhile 'cause there wasn't nothin' new to look at! My backlog is getting better though. I have 4 more MOC's to photo and post by the end of this week and, IMHO, they're even better! (...) Thanks! The Giant (...) (18 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: Inter-City Bus for Personal Pods

(...) I know what you mean. I've had that model together so long I'd stopped noticed the star tiles and forgot to explain them. It was a 3-star Bus line or something. I would've used a couple blue 2x3 low-slopes with the Classic Space logo on them (...) (18 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.space)
