Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

Tommy, I thought you might be behind those beautiful little markers. Thanks for sharing your talent with AFOL community.   Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

(...) Yeah, the 1526 is naturally a bit of a guess since all we have is box art to go from, but I think we got it pretty close (except the 4x4 radar dish fell off the front of the vehicle during shipping and since none of us knew the set very well I (...)   Re: Lates Talin spaceships

I like the Talin 3: (URL) The long, asymmetric shape of this design is a great departure from the norm. The double pressurized module for the crew cabin and cockpit is really nice and just adds to the asymmetric feel. I can't say that I like the (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MOC: Ubrikkian Landspeeder

Hello, It's been a while since I've posted a MOC, so I figured it was time to actually take pictures of the several I've accrued over the past few years. Anyway, here's an Ubrikkian Landspeeder (the weird ball thing outside the Mos Eisley Cantina). (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim) !

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

(...) I will take partial credit for the neat little slope markers with the set number and year engraved on them and the logo on the 1x2 caps. Matt came up with idea and even designed me a jig/vise (out of LEGO of course) so could do them on my (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

Woah, that really IS Space complete. You even got the unreleased set 1526 AND the rare dacta space set in the display. Maybe next year you could try Castle :) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Re: Madcat / Timberwolf in camouflage-snow-version (Schneetarn)

(...) Wow, that's really impressive; if I didn't know better I would think Lego was releasing a MechWarrior theme. I especially like how you've constructed the joints. (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

Matthew, I just finished looking at some of the pictures of this display and it was awesome! What a beautiful way to show off your collection's of classic LEGO space sets. Tell me more about all those little red markers...FANTASTIC! Kudos to all (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

Yes, we did it. We displayed space complete! We pulled it together, and by early afternoon on Saturday at BrickFest 2007 in Portland we had pulled together a display of every single numbered Classic space set from 1978 though 1999. This (...)   Re: 1754 Space Jet

(...) I don't know if it counts, but the link you gave does help because I was unaware that it was a re-release of Surveillance Scooter. I'd still like to be able to find someone who had a copy of that set actually numbered 1754. Thanks for the (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
