Re: First Look at Cosmic Rendevous Creations...(graphics heavy)

(...) snip (...) Thanks for playing interstellar, ah interstate transportation officer, Joe! It's much appreciated.   Re: Gamble your money away at Rigel 7

That's a beautiful thing, Adrian. Exterior: Very attractive overall design with the three connected cylinders, and the Tycho-style windows-on-curved-walls once again looks great. Nice use of those 1x1 trans-red domed cylinder thingies around the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

  BioniWars OOPS-9, Command BatToa Droid

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that the only thing that truly qualifies a Battle Droid to be the leader is the yellow detailing. Too bad they don't carry cash, or you could make a nice chunk of change by setting up a store that (...)   Bots and what-not.

In my traditional manner of jumping on bandwagons long after everyone else has jumped of, I decided recently to make my own portable bot factory. Why o why did I wait so long? It had it's first emergency use the other night when I had a flat tyre on (...) (22 years ago, 16-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: a perfect day for something new

(...) Patrick, I too think all three creations are great! The deep-space vessel is AWESOME! I too really like the circular form you've designed...pulled it off very well. Those rings are spiffy! As for PCS, I think it would fall under PPCS (Post-Pre (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: A new species in the neighborhood

(...) Unlike those silly tater-headed Martians, Venusians have an excellent sense of style. And since the invention of the paint-on life support suit, things have gotten very exciting! Aaron S (URL) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: A new species in the neighborhood

(...) Lenny, come on! You know there's a serious time lag between Terra and Venus. Besides I've got this nasty flu- the real-life virus. And Mitzi would slap you and your commie friends for saying she looks like a Martian. Those lethargic, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: a perfect day for something new

(...) Hello Patrick. I dig all 3 MOCs. So far I have been enjoying everyones PCS MOCs. Yours is pretty sweet! The "long range look" of it goes with your description. About the mech, I like the arm/weapons of your walker mech, works very well with (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: a perfect day for something new

(...) Dude! That's great! The long cylindrical shape is really unique, and you've made it work well. It truley looks like a space vessal, with the long spindly appendages and those nifty circular thingies on the back. And the references to Classic (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space)

a perfect day for something new

The planets alligned giving me the time and space to photograph some creations that have been sitting around. So without further ado... First up as an attempt at PCS. It's a deep space explorer launched from orbit and uses stars to slingshot around (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc)

A new species in the neighborhood

I received a visitor this weekend from our neighboring planet, Venus. (URL) Her name is Mitzi, or at least that's what it sounded like to me. She is a delegate from her employer. They sought me out, hoping to negotiate a contract for newer ships. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Gamble your money away at Rigel 7

(...) Oh, I think maybe you misunderstood me. I like it better than those quarter domes for exactly the reason you state, its much easier to see inside.   Re: Gamble your money away at Rigel 7

(...) Sorry mate, did I steal another idea from the brain of Mr. Maddison? *hehe* Yeah, I wish I knew where that rotating airlock idea came from... Adrian (URL) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Gamble your money away at Rigel 7

(...) Umm, yeah, holo-morphic. That sounds good :) Honestly though, even if I had those big quarter domes, I'd still have built the pool's dome like this, as it's much easier to see inside and check out the details. The landing pad is, of course, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
