  Re: New MOC: The Turtle

Nice, but I'd prefer it without the wings and wheeled instead. But still a nice little vehicule. I think the Turtle concept should be explored more. Terry (22 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: The Turtle

(...) Pretty nifty Nathan! The dark grey and sand green work suprising well. And I like those little landing gear on this big squat craft - very neat. Nice hatch too. The grill tiles on the floor are cool. -Chris (22 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: The Turtle

(...) Nicely done. It definitely has a shuttle-ish shape. Well thought-out interior with under-seat storage. The rear looks a bit too engine-y for my taste, but that's not really a problem with your MOC. I really like the retractable landing ramp. (...)   Re: New MOC: The Turtle

(...) Cool! It's deceptively roomy. At first glance it looks kinda small. But, shouldn't that be a Shurtle craft? (ducks) James Wilson Dallas, TX Lugnet member #1783 (22 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Presenting my largest undertaking to date: The Roderik Project

I tend to do a combination of both... on the Genesis, I built the top of the cockpit, then the bottom with the interior details. Now I'm working on the interior of the main ship, and plan on attaching the exterior midway through... kind of a front (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Presenting my largest undertaking to date: The Roderik Project

(...) Ya know, this got me thinking. When you (the general everyone you) builds a large ship, do you tend to make the interior first and then build the outside to cover it, or do you build the exterior shell and then shoehorn an interior into it? Or (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
