(...) They are. If Photo Deluxe really doesn't have an adjustment for the JPEG compression ratio, note that you can also do this with the OS X Preview app too. Well in the program I am using, Photoshop 5.0, when you go to "save as..." you enter the path and file name and select .jpg and then hit "ok" and before it saves it asks you to set the image quality (that is where you change the compression.) (...) I always make my images 8 inches across and they still take a while to load. I want my images to be a decent size and quality but have a fast loading time.
