  Re: Candiru

As said in chat Mark, this thing is a beaut.....you and Joel did a foine job. Collaborative builds are a total blast, for all the reasons you've mentioned in this thread. It reminds me of Gatchaman in it's form. One of the things I loved about '70's (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Questions for Dan (was My wallpaper)

Dan, Is there anything behind the trans-orange besides gray bricks? and does the cockpit have a pilot seat of some kind? Thanks again, Mark M. (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Rick, great use of the Slave I canopies. The wraparound console is the neatest part, IMO. -Stefan- (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: CL-4000 Passenger Liner Shuttle

This is a pretty sweet shuttle! i love the compactness of its shape, but most importantly its sleek-ness. it seems lego works really well in industrial looking space ships, but not so much in sleek ones. this creation really walks the fine line (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: PCS Gets a move on....

(...) PCS is awesome. For several reasons, first being the simply elegant designs. second, altho heavy on white bricks, it is good to see creations that stress something other than grey. and with eastern block's emphasis on red, it really helps open (...)   Re: taking good photos

(...) For resizing images, I found a freeware program that is pretty useful. It will batch resize. (URL) always shoot in my camera's high-res. Even 2.1 Mega-pixel is too big for comfortable downloading and viewing from brickshelf. I'm not saying (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) greebles to keep the eye busy. The only thing I don't like is the use of the Star Wars laser cannons. They just don't look right on something this scale. Overall, some very cool microfig ships. ~Grand Admiral (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Hello

Hello, I've been a lurker for a long time and finally decided to join this wonderful community! I have quite a few MOCs in my Brickshelf gallery. I was refered to this place by a friend at FBTB. I've been making MOCs for about three or four (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: PCS Gets a move on....

(...) Thank ya Paul, and yes, you're right. It's SW meets DP9 meets lego. The tying of the theme together has been really fun. I had the SPLANG, HOPLAB and PELiCAN all together on a table... it was neat to compare them together. I'm keepin' these (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: PCS Gets a move on....

(...) Ya, the Grand Admiral sketched me out a cool plan for the gear. I'll install those before fest. The big challenge is the balance on the craft. The aft is heavier than I planned. (...) Ya, I considered the plain panels. I swapped em out 2 or 3 (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Platonic I hope.... Thanks for the compliments. Yes that ship was on the brain when I built it. I hope PCS will survive. I still enjoy buildin' the sub theme. Hope you folks are still likin' it. If not lemme know (Doesn't mean I'll stop). ;-) (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) I like rounded corners due to my engineering background. Unless your MOC's have a force field technology, your space ship is going to be a pressure vessel (albeit one with only one atmosphere difference), and the sharper the corner in a (...) (21 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)
