A few weeks back some friends took me to a blues lounge with a couple of local blues singers/guitarists. During one song, these lyrics popped in my head. One way to increase the friction on a single plate motion (like a swing-wing aircraft for example) is to use 2 of them...one on top and one on bottom with the plate sandwiched between. Surround the turntable on the bottom surface with tiles and the (...) (22 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.space)

It's funny you mention that because this is actually a narrower version of a much larger box that I just couldn't get to look right. In this case I wanted the ship to look like an oversized traditional brick :-) Thanks for the reply! (...) (22 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.space)
