Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

Cool! I really like all the different mini versions of Lego space sets (the Deep Freeze Defender is especially nice). You're off to a good start. --Dan (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Black Jack 2

Woah! Good job! This really caught my eye as I was browsing the recent stuff. I like the lines on this ship. It reminds me of the Defiant from Star Trek: DS9. I like the interior layout too, though some sections don't look as detailed as others. Is (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: BattleSpace (was: LEGO Site Relaunch!)

(...) I think I've found the problem. Battlespace uses Javascript to do the links on the navigation menu. Example: style="cursor: hand" onclick="window.pare...sers.htm') Many browsers don't seem to recognize that code and so it just displays regular (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Ooh, great ship. I really like shuttle-sized ships. This is a big improvement, and a great ship itself. The slopes work realyl well together, and I like the idea for the engine. Those big round transparent parts work well in the engine. I've noticed (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC Preview (feedback?)

Wow, that is a great MOC. The shape is really original and cool. And the greeblies are really superb. Great job. I like the cramped, control-ridden canopy too. And the round engine part is a classic. As for the type of craft... I think it being a (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

Oh, yes. Very fine. You've really captured the essence of microfig scale in this MOC- everything is done so well, with the typical whatsit micro-greeblies done really well. You modeled the shapes well, which is often the hardest thing. Eveything (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC Preview (UPDATE)

Thanks for all the descriptive feedback, guys. I really appreciate it. In answer to questions/comments: (...) Thank you. (...) It's from one of the sliding 8x16 soccer bases. I picked a couple of them up at BW03 and have been meaning to use them in (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

Wow. My first MOC and I've gotten lots of great responses - and I've made the sidebar MOC picture! Woo-hoo! I'm especially flattered that I got picked to go after the minifig sculpture. That thing is beautiful - I wouldn't have minded if it stayed (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

Thanks Gil, I'm happy to be here. Mini stuff is cool, has a low piece count, and is lots of fun to play with. Not tha I'm giving up on minifigs - see my Blacktron Desperado Zeta in a forthcoming post... Scott (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)
