Three times three pics of new MOCs

Hello all, I uploaded some pics of new MOCs and would like any comments you might have. Ship #1 was inspired by Paul Hartzog's Mako in color scheme and shape. Ship #2 is the largest I've built so far and ship #3 is just a crazy thing I thought up (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC Preview (feedback?)

Too cool. This is one nifty ship. I particularly like the color scheme, very unusual. Your greebling is exceptional. The finished model is going to be quite a sight. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space and Futron Mechs

The Futron Medium mech looks as if would fit in perfectly with the alt models on the back of the All Terrain Vehicle.....good stuff. Cheers, -G (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC Preview (feedback?)

This looks great Bruce....as I've recently commented, builders that can coax circular shapes out of the Brick are tops in my book. I've always wanted to try doing the salvaged ship from Titan AE...you model has given me some inspriation to do so. (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

With the quality of the mini stuff coming out like this, it's definately turning around my thoughts on the scale. Nice Stuff Scott....and welcome! Cheers, -G (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Black Jack 2

This is a totally sweet upgrade, Felix. That cockpit section has definately set a new standard. The SNOT goes so well with the brasso'd saucers....make sure to take lotsa picture of the unveiling for us poor slobs who can't make the 'Fest. Cheers, (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: the gift of LEGO

Congrats Paul...on both accounts! Now, build us a MOC based on the principals of Rep by Pop and balance of the legislative and judiciary processes ;) Cheers, -G (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Black Jack 2

(...) Thanks for the kind words Joe. I didn't want to give away details about Project Omega so some things were thrown in just for looks (the martian in the lab, for example). Most of my ships have a defiant look about them because I'm pretty saucer (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Black Jack 2

(...) Yah, there are a couple parts of the ship that were born out of frustration. Thats a good point about the guns- I'll probably redo those guns and the engines at some point in the future. I had tried quite a few ideas but nothing was really (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Please take a look at my (old) Moonbase Module

I've posted my Alpha-Omega Landing Pad module on the following website: (URL) a neat site that links to photos in your Brickshelf account and allows people to review and rank your Lego creations. Please come take a look at my page and feel free to (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

SF Cons (was: Quantifying and Classifying the LEGO Community)

(...) MichLUG did thee SF cons, exhibiting in the art room at one of them. Though they were in the art room, and had artist badges, it was understood by the event organizers that they weren't there to sell stuff and therefore weren't a direct (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Sidebar Crash Course?

(...) Why thank you, sir! <salute> May the Red Tide of the Eastern Block never fade! -Jr. Marshal Hoffman (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

I really like the base, but the thing that really impressed me were all the mini versions of classic ships. My favorite may be the Star Hawk. A much under-rated ship might I add. Superb work. You sir are a steely eyed minimoc man. Welcome to space. (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: "Josef" Eastern Block People's Intrastellar Fighter

Pinko. Admiral Giddens <>< P.S. Excellent work. Our records indicate the EB promoted you to Junior Marshal of the Eastern Block Cosmos Directorate. May you die in flames. (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

Beautiful. I really like the recognizable ships/vehicles from different lines. But what is the smiley-go-lucky crew of the classic Explorer doing as a regular customer of a Blacktron base? Shady, I tell you. Shady. (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC Preview (feedback?)

(...) on...you have a distinctly different look. I like it a lot. The rest of the ship is cool too, as itt has an industrial look with the greys on it. But what does the drive look like? And I like the black fins (...) Starrunner? It's the first (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: "Josef" Eastern Block People's Intrastellar Fighter

(...) Great job! Nice cockpit detail, and now I'm waiing for the folder to be moderated to see some more details...but it's really cool and has a Soviet feel to it, right down to the name of the ship. Joe Meno (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)
