Re: First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

Thanks Felix. I love working in microscale - you can have a whole fleet in your pocket. This is only the beginning for the Flock of Robins. The story of this ship has been floating around in my head for a while now. Scott (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) when comparing the two there is a stark difference. I think the transition from the body to the head via the "neck" is VERY smooth. Again, I love the SNOTed use of those spaceship hulls and the windshield/screen is great! I did like those (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) think the first Blackjack was that blocky until I seen the two pics side by side...what a much more smoother design :) I look forward to seeing more of this at Brickfest and learning more about Project Omega. Keep up the good work! - Jim F. (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) me are all of the micro sets you've built. I dig the Flock of Robins. Not sure- but I think I ran across the captain at a moonbase saloon. I overheard him say he was going to run- run so far away. And that he just had- had to get away. (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  MOC: Black Jack 2

Hi Spacers, (URL) remade the Black Jack to be a bit less boxy and made room to detail the interior. The ship is part of Project Omega, which I hope to unveil at Brickfest-- so, I don't want to go into too much detail. PLMKWYT Felix (URL) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.space) !

First MOC posting - Blacktron Base

As a long time lurker who has finally entered the 21st century (at least enough to post a MOC anyway), greetings to all. Inspired by the mini-SW sets and the Moonbase Project, I present a quarter-scale Blacktron mining base (with bonus message (...)   Re: MB Droid Factory

AC, Very clever. The building itself is a little too boxy for me, but I love the idea and the interior scene. Do those white pieces on the outside swing open for delivering droid parts?
