  Re: Station 45

What can I say? Whoa. WHOA. Can I come live with you ;) ? Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

(...) I totally agree Adrian. I just love the Ma-in-lawbot. In fact, I think i like the name more than the bot itself! The Mothbot isn't my favorite, but the first is very very cool. Great work! (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Defense Module

(...) Thanks Jeff. Actually it's still together. We'll see what happens after the move. (...) Yes it does. But anymore weight and it wouldn't. I built it in a hurry so it could be built a little more efficently if I had a bit more time. Jamie (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Defense Module

Thanks Chris. The lower guns remind me of the drone guns in Aliens (seen only in the special edition version). The large Gun could have been done a little better. The good news is that it didn't make it to the scrap heap. I packed it up and it will (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Defense Module

Thanks Mike. Maybe your right about the lack of greeblies. I just thought it was a little bland and wanted to add a tad bit more eye candy. I like the three also. I was either that or a 4. Jamie www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Defense Module

Thanks G.A. The elevator was inspired by the little minifig elevator you had on you landing platform module. I was going to mention that but forgot too. Jamie www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

(...) Hehe. The Ma-In-Lawbot is a great little design, very amusing. The others are pretty good, too. Though the Mothbot doesn't look very cohesive to me. There's just something about it that makes it look a little too "thrown together" for my (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My Airlock

(...) I'm using the web interface for LUGNET, with MSIE 5.0. It displayed the link like that in Marlon's original post too - (URL) Clicking on the link (URL) for me reaches Kevin Loch's pictures of Mindfest. -Tim xfut -> admin.nntp (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.nntp)

  Re: FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

Tony, These are cool! Why the insect theme? It translates well into 'bots. Did you make these out of a Portable Bot Factory? Thanks also for the instructions...that's a good idea! Nice work! Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

I have a new gallery up with four little robots. One of them has been seen before, but the other 3 are brand new and two of them have instructions. (URL) FlyBot is intended to be a base model for a number of variants, and the MothBot is the first of (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)

Re: Pre CS MOC: The XLL324 "Vant"

I think this may be my favorite pre-CS MOC for looking like something that would fit into a steady stage of advancement. The tail and thrusters are very reminiscent of the space shuttle, while the forward parts of the ship begin to resemble (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Mini 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport

(...) Very nice! I'm a big classic space fan and I've done a good bit of micro-scale building, so this is right up my alley. You've done a great job of modeling a true classic. And your background rocks! One suggestion for ladders: Mount a clip to (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My first Photoshop Picture...

Pretty groovy pic, I used the Flaming Pear - it's too bad it expires. I'm not sure if it's worth actually purchasing, however. I thought I'd chime in on making blurred images, though: A better way to simulate motion is to make use of layers. Take (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pre CS MOC: The XLL324 "Vant"

(...) Allister, I really like this. I can see you put a lot of care into adding all the auxiliary manuevering nozzles, it ends up looking like a greebled, working space ship. It also looks like a very fast, no nonsense hauler. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
