Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

Thank you sir. The legs were the jumping off point for this little guy....I had them sketched out before the rest. Must be an after effect of poking around in .mecha..... Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

That's a nifty little Mech you built there. It reminds me of my SM-388 robot I built a while back only this is 10 times better. I like what you did with the hip joints. Looks very good. Good to see a moc show up under the a.c.e.r. banner. Jamie (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: The Hummingbird

(...) Thanks for the feedback. The Hummingbird isn't designed to be orbital capable, as the propulsion depends on using the atmosphere for a working fluid, but I suppose one could jury rig an internal propulsive gas source and maybe make it to low (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

Very cool, Gil. The legs really work well with the cockpit- its hard to make an armless mech that looks right. The use of the dish and round brick design for the hips also is nice.   MOC: The Hummingbird

The Hummingbird Are you tired of aircraft compromises? Do you have multiple locations where you can't afford a landing strip for fixed wing aircraft, yet are tired of paying expenses for rotary craft? Are your locations too far apart for rotary (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Lame Parts Competition - The Prize Winners

Just a quick post to say say that the prizes are winging their way Stateside as we speak. Dang that's good. Very solid and compact. It looks as though even if it ran out of ammo, it'd do a fair amount of damage just by ramming the opponent. Nice one. Allister ...thinking mecha thoughts... (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
