Chris, I really like this. That window works perfectly. Other nice details are the hatch with built in ladder and the use of those ball turret pieces as engines. Bruce (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Prototype Destroyer

(...) oops. totally missed that picture. (URL) was comparing it in the pic next to the couch (but obviously a love seat). 4.5 ft x 12 = 54 inches 54 in / 10 = 5.4 baseplate lengths 5.4 bl x 32 = ~173 studs. okay, so I was an entire baseplate short. (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Prototype Destroyer

(...) At least it's chuckle-worthy... though to be honest I almost thought your comment was funnier. I'm going to have the phrase "awkward kneeless leap" bouncing around in my head for the rest of the day. (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Prototype Destroyer

(...) PeaceKeeper was the fighter of my Lunar War, along with the Striker as the bomber). I agree with Leonard (I think it was Leonard) about maybe trying to add a little more trans-red to make it more SP1. But besides that, this model has a lot of (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Gil, One of the few Star Wars MOCs that 100% truly looks like it belongs in Star Wars. I can just see some version of this trudging away in the background of ESB or ROTJ, and most definately as one of those annoying things to destroy in the games. (...)   Hypothetical Space Warfare

After reading some of the really cool discussions and points of view raised in responce to this post, I have been lead to an new conclusion: Meaningful discussion about the nature of space warfare is immeadiately bound by the technology used. This (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
