  Hoverbikes....

These are great! .space never ceases to amaze me. To Chris, Jamie and Gil, you guys are the masters of all things small...I mean that in the nicest way possible =) Tim D., the Ardvark is very slick. To all the other hoverbike builders, I've seen (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) <Burns finger tap> Excellent. </Burns> :-) -Chris (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Three HoverBikes

Cool stuff Andrew. I agree with Gil - the Alpha Stalker's my pick of the litter. The slope on the back of the bike is especially cool, as is that massive nose. No need to fly around walls with this bike. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonfly Hoverbike

Wow, that's really cool. Great color scheme. Those slopes on the front look particularly menacing, especially looking at it headon. Side pods really work well with the rest of the design. And a really cool fuel cell! -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

That's a very unique shape. The interioir rocks, especially the bridge. I love the bridge... the seats and the railing and the tiles on the floor all make for an exceptional bridge. And the beds are really very nice, as well. Very cool! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

That's a very beefy hoverbike- I like the parts that stick out, such as the antennas and the two tiles up front. The color sceme is nice, too, along with the engine. Very nice... anybody gonna build a hoverbike starting pit? :) -JHK (Who is torn (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Thanks Andrew! The size just kinda grew out of using that funky twisted slope for the faring from the Naboo SE. These things are such a blast. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My hoverbike.

That's a very cool use of the Slave I piece. Very nice shape around it, I particullarly like the engine section. The round sticking out bits have a nice feel. And the nose, is, well, nice! :) -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Thankye sir! To support the frame, it gets significantly less milage and lesser exceleration. It's not when you cross the finish line, it's how you look when you get there :) Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonfly Hoverbike

Wow, that has a very unique shape, very cool color scheme, and a very cool Fleebnork engine. This looks like a really powerful MOC! I can imagine it roaring down the circuts... Anybody notice the renaming of our little corner of lugnet to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Three HoverBikes

More fun stuff Andrew. I think the Alpha Stalker is my pick of the lot...that heavy nose looks laden with ramming menace. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonfly Hoverbike

Man...that thing looks like it could saw through a titanium hull. Very cool. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

(...) Thanks I'm a terrible judge of weight but i would guess 50-60lbs? i can't pick the whole thing up, it's a lil wobbly, so i move it in 3-4level sections at a time. It's got 0 wooshability. :) Jeb (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: 4 HoverBikes waiting to join the circuit

You know, when Chris first put out the call, I thought, 'This is so Jamie's thing.' Must be the job you've done on smaller models like your rickshaw. Very pleased to have guessed right...such and eclectic collections of machines. Each one has such (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

Wow. That is a great combo of sculpting and traditional building....what an interesting shape. I've never seen anything from Homeworld, but a few builders here seem to derive some inspiration from it...have to check it out. I am particuliarly (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  2x2 medium-slope w/computer screen in red?!

Hey all, I'm pretty sure this is a Town piece, because I've never seen it in any Space sets that I've had or read about. Yet, at our last local club meeting, one of the members had this piece for sale. I bought it immediately, incredulous. Anyone (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonfly Hoverbike

Looks like a powerful bike. Good stuff. I like how you used the door pieces. The pieces to the sides of the seat are cool, too. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

(...) Thanks Andrew. The frame is the best part about them - very versatile. (...) That's what started the whole thing (again). I was looking at my Frostbite and said "what if there was a cone there"...and here we are. (...) I'm looking forward to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
