  New Render -LMKWYT : )

I was just playing around with some of Karim Nassar's dat files and assembled a task force of Pallas Spaceworks craft that is seen on maneuvers in a close formation. LMKWYT. -Xanthra47 (URL) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad)

  My own Hoverbike Ferrari x3-TurboFan

Ye gods! I don't look in this group for a week after complimenting Joel Kuester on his hoverbike and the whole place is fulla' them! Most cool -- being as it's late, I'm not going to post to each one, but guys... you make me wanna toss my meager (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: How do YOU make your hangar bay doors?

(...) Heh...I've never heard those called 'train hinges' before. I can see how they're used on trains (I would assume to couple two cars), but that would somewhat limit a train on its ability to go up and down a grade. Anyways, do you have pics of (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et in Arcadia Lego HoverThing Contest ;-)

(...) Small one person hover-craft I did last Nov. (URL) "next" thru the views. Building (rough) guide is (URL) fun DaveG (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: How do YOU make your hangar bay doors?

Hehe, neither had I until I took a good look at one of the trains in the Lego catalog and then saw the part on brickbay. It's a 2x4 flat piece with a 3 plate tall end part that is either a small peg, or a holder for the peg, which allows 90° (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

(...) While mildly entertaining, I find the hole subject quite draining. If this is what space models are coming to, I might just pull the plug on this group. ;-) I wonder what will come out of the pipe next... (in all sincerity, very cool and very (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

HoverThing Contest Entry: The Zeno HoverTub

Hi! Someone had to be a snarky goofball about the contest, and since nobody else has done it, I guess it falls to me. It's all the better because this is such an Obviously Winning Entry(tm). Therefore I hereby submit, for your approval, the Zeno (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: Tornado HoverCycle

(...) Pretty darn neat, actually. Hrm. I may have to make a minor modification. I had originally had the white golfball looking domes as the hoverpods, but didn't like the way they looked so I'd taken them off. I never even thought to put radar (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: HoverThing Contest Entry: Tornado HoverCycle

Spiffy! I wonder how it would look with some 4x4 dishes on the, uh, hoverpods I guess... I like the little arm for the handlebars too :-P (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: I've updated...

Neato. I really liked the cockpit on the scout. And the Aquazone base was saweet too :-). But I'll have to say: More pics please! And bigger ones! Bigger is better :-p (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Re: Posting Frequency, was Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

(...) I mainly read and look at other MOCs. I don't take pictures or bother posting stuff to my website anymore. -- dataAndrew Lurker (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: I've updated...

(...) Nice to see some stuff from you. Your Spiked Fist is one of my favorite Space Pirate ships. The Space Scout has a nice look to it. The windshield is pretty cool. Got any more pictures? I'd like to see more of the interior and exterior. Your (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Heather Patey/Round doors/Brown sector

(...) That's an excellent use for the "8" system--I'd looked at it as a mega-axle for rotation (with the Droid Escape panels) but with a little tweaking of the depth, and the use of some 4x4x1 bricks and 8x8 round plates, it could be "spaced up" (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

  I've updated...

Hey, I finally got my hands on a digital camera and took some pictures of my smaller stuff. Come on over to see pictures of my medieval village, sailing ship, spacecraft, and of course AQUAZONE stuff! Have a look at... (URL) LMKWYT!   Re: Low Earth Orbit is closer than you think!

(...) Hi, George, I like it. A little X-34, plus a little X-43. You can join Lindsay Braun in the "near future" category of Space builders. Retractable landing gear, too -- cool! I'm wondering why you did the nose in white instead of dark gray or (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Heather Patey/Round doors/Brown sector

(...) With something other than a falcon shield to cover the center, I presume :-) Not familiar with Babylon 5, but I think this door is more like 8-9 feet in minifig-scale... might not be a problem though. It does suggest a dramatic portal, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Posting Frequency, was Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

(...) I haven't been posting as much lately due to the increased noise in the group. It's getting better, but there has been a lot of non-space related posting going on. I usually just post via the web and stay logged on. No problems with (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

I like them. -the alien ship: I like the way you did the saucer pieces (I tried something like that on on of my ships, but couldn't make it strong, so I scrapped it.). the cockpit is pretty cool ("showing unknown but impeccably well dressed alien (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)
