(...) It was my impression that Life on Mars was supposed to be a supliment to the town theme. To interact with the Space Port sub-theme. (URL) I think the intent was that it wouldn't be a "full fledged space theme". Just a bunch of normal (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

I read that LOM sets were an off-shoot of the Town Spaceport sets already out on the market....town astronauts and science guys, etc. I also think the Solar Explorer is a loop-hole since there is a probe and ground vehicle attatched to the (...) (...) Interesting. Train hinges? Anyways, I recently built some doors that are 18 studs tall and 16 wide each, and slide on a track apart and together. They are on the outside of the ship so the surrounding surface of the ship is flat. I used the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) I realize that most vehicles in the LoM-series are ground vehicles, but there is the 7315 Solar Explorer, which is clearly a flying space ship.
