I think you need to use the USB tower and the light tube. The Scout uses
VLL IIRC.

| Hi, I just recently downloaded the Scout SDK. I installed the software, but, I cannot get it to see my Scout. When I open the Scout Tool application an error message says "Please be sure your Scout is turned on and within range, then press init (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-03, to lugnet.robotics.scout)
