Re: new RoboLab 2.5 compatible with old serial IR tower & RCX 1.0

If you already have a serial IR tower, RCX 1.0, Scouts, and MicroScouts, then what extra benefits would you get from the new RoboLab 2.5 with: 1) new USB IR tower? 2) new RCX 2.0? 3) old Scout, eg, events and VLL output to MicroScout? 4) old (...)   new RoboLab 2.5 compatible with old serial IR tower & RCX 1.0

Pitsco told me that the new RoboLab 2.5 CDROM will still support the old serial port IR tower with RCX 1.0. Other than just the USB support does anyone know what benefits RoboLab 2.5 offers with the new USB IR tower and RCX 2.0? (25 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Robolab conflicts with PC Duo NetSupport

Robolab 2.0 fails to load when used on a Win2000 PC running several recent v5.x and v6.x versions of PC Duo NetSupport network monitoring package.   Re: ROBOLAB problem

Yes, that is an annoying misfeature of Robolab 2.0. I believe it is fixed in RoboLab 2.5 (due out Real Soon Now) where there is now an icon that resets before waiting and one that doesn't. In the meantime, you can code it yourself: <= - Jump X Land (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  SubVI help screens

I recently discovered the feature in RoboLab that lets you compact many program steps into one icon, using the command 'Create SubVI'. It's intuitive and easy to use.   Re: Rotation Sensor

Which command are you refering to? "Wait for Rotation" is positive-only I think, whereas "Angle Sensor Fork" and "Angle Container" can both deal with negatives. To make a "wait for" out of a fork, you would put a Jump in the branch of the fork that (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)
