Can you explain a little more what you mean by "sometimes"? Are you saying that
with the OS root set to \brickos compiling works for some programs but not for
others or are you saying that with BricxCC installed on one computer it works
with \brickos but on another computer it needs to be set to c:\cygwin\brickos?
It *should* always work with it set to \brickos (if you use my 2 pre-built
installers). You might try uninstalling everything (the 2 cygwin/brickos
installers AND BricxCC as well) and then reinstall all three to see if that
makes things work more consistently for you.
Also make sure the right environment variables are getting set.

| Hi, I've again found a way to solve this problem: Sometimes you have to replace the OS root "\brickos" with "c:\cygwin\brickos". Sometimes it works just with "\brickos". I don't know why.
