Markus,
It might be a good idea to carefully review the LEGO Group's policies on
domain names, possibly even retaining an attornery if you are serious, or
contacting TLG attorneys with specific questions. Note that TLG's "Fair
Play" page
http://www.lego.com/professionals/fair.asp
states that the LEGO trademark should not be incorporated into a domain name.
A couple of cases in point (sites which TLG asked be removed) are
legowww.homepages.com
legopolis.com
for obvious reasons of trademark dilution. In addition to the fact that
legOS.net would most likely (I predict) be viewed as trademark dilution by
the LEGO Group, the natural (lowercase) form of the domain, which is how
everyone would link to it and how it would appear in browser windows, is
legos.net, which incorporates a specific mutation of the LEGO mark ("legos")
which TLG has vehemently opposed for decades.
There is little information online anymore about the legowww.homepages.com
debacle, which happened more than 3 years ago, but here is some fairly
recent information about the former legopolis.com domain:

| Hello, sorry for being out of touch. I just stumbled across a service called www.registernic.net. Apparently, they are handing out .com, .org and .net domains and 6MB of webspace free for two years. They register in your name, and they don't even (...)
