I'm still following the instructions from
http://news.lugnet.com/robotics/rcx/legos/?n=2097.
So far I've got legOS compiled and working (I can transfer the kernel and
previously compiled programs to the rcx)
And I've got binutils installed...i think, no error messages at least.
I can not get gcc to work. I've tried the recent version, and also the older
egcs. Both will create makefiles, but when I run the makefile I get
xgcc: installation problem, cannot exec 'cc1': No such file or directory
xgcc: file path prefix '\lego-ms\build-gcc\gcc\' never used
make[1]:***[SYSCALLS.c.X]Error 1
make[1]:Leaving directy '/lego-ms/build-gcc/gcc'
make:***[all-gcc]Error 2
I'm after trying quite a few times and each time I delete everything except
the source folder...i'm not sure if that's screwed anything up.

| Hi all, I currently use legOS on my linux machine. I want to be able to use it on my laptop, so i'm not always tied to my desktop. I purchased a Serial USB adapter since my laptop does not have a serial port. $80!!! I decided that it would be much (...) (23 years ago, 13-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
