the RCX.  Using DLL, I tried to send demo/helloworld.lx and I receive an
error there as well.

Also, when I installed RH, I had a mouse connected to the same serial port.
I am wondering if the mouse driver is still loading and thus causing
problems???

Oh, on the console you might have gpm running, which allows copy-paste
on the console with the mouse. As root, run '/etc/rc.d/init.d/gpm stop'
and see if it gets better.

To turn that off completely edit /etc/sysconfig/mouse and set
MOUSETYPE=none.

If this is the case, anyone know how to disable the mouse driver?  Is this
only an issue in the GUI?  (I generally do not run the GUI at this point)
... (Guess I should go check the support section of redhat.com 8-)
