Ok, big surprise: it turns out I'm a moron. It was cleared all along, for
some strange reason I was expecting the "00:00" to come up in boot mode - I
forgot that was part of the Lego firmware, not the boot code. I guess thats
what happens when I play with lego in-between pulling all nighters for
assignments and mid-terms <grin>.
Anyway, thanks for the replies. I better get back to studying for my operating
systems mid-term tomorrow. If I can't tell the difference between an installed
or not-installed OS, then I'm in big trouble!
Thanks,
Rick
