- Anybody out there got any experience with Genetic Algorithms in LegOS, anybody willing to give me a little help in getting a handle on it, I'm considering a final year CSSE project using the RCX, and would be interested to here from anyone who's (...) (...) No- I should have been more clear: PC->tower->robot automatically turns on the tower and is therefore pretty robust (whereas the robot has no way to turn on the tower once it has gone off.) There is no way to use laptop IR to talk to the (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

FYI, The main limitation with the IR, assuming that your room is reasonably IR reflective, is that the tower turns itself off and so it can (...)
