(...) I now have a Dynamic Instruments 16VAC 375mA, AT&T AC 9V 800mA, and a Black & Decker 9V 200mA from a Dust Buster but it does not say if it is DC or AC, I am assuming AC. Which one should I use? (...) _ALWAYS_ assume DC on an actual power adapter (at least in the US). Most AC devices will just use a simple cord, like you'd find on a portable stereo. Usually AC will either say AC or have a ~ symbol. DC will either say DC or have a symbol that looks like = or _-_ -Rob A> (...) (17 years ago, 10-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

(...) Whoops, I missed that there was a third option. I concur with this, as it's both the right voltage and confirmed AC. The mA rating, BTW, is a capacity rating, so it will work for anything that draws 800mA or less. The NXT adapter is rated for (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
