I am writing a program, and it doesnt work. Right now im just trying to make sure I can interface with the serial port properly. So I am sending: 55 ff 00 51 ae 03 fc 54 ab At 2400 baud, 8 data bits, odd parity, and one stop bit. It doesnt work. The (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

As long as there is some surface for the IR to bounce off, the bricks do not have to face each other. Sending messages is the technique that is used and is very effective. The way I read the article it didn't seem that they were so much upset that he had come up with the new OS, but rather that he had named it legOS. No matter how you look at it, or what excuse he can come up for choosing that name, it is pushing the (...) Having registered legOS.sourceforge.net (on Markus's word that TLG had given him permission to use the name), having run the last release of legOS, and having not heard anything from TLG myself, I can say that there are no plans in this corner of (...) Article here: (URL) TLC may be talking to Marcus Noga about his use of "LegOS" for the open-source operating system for the Mindstorms RCX (see last page). I can see their point. Hi, I 've seen the new Mindstorms 2.0 at Toys'R'us in Neuss (near Cologne and Duesseldorf). It comes with the new usb ir tower for 489 DM. They also sell the old package 1.5 with the old serial ir tower (no usb!) for 449 DM. I don't know if the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
