Thanks Dave. I hadn't downloaded the firmware yet.  Originally, I was simply hoping to use the remote control and the rcx to drive my trains.  So I didn't bother to install the software. Now I know. Hi, what is the magic in LegOS to quit the application so that it can be restarted again? In some demos it works, but the same mechanism (i.e. 1 stopper process that kills the other on [run] button) quits the program, but the display says some (...) Matthew's program takes one reading at initialization time to determine a baseline value. Any reading that falls 7 units below this is assumed to be a dark line. If you need just random 16 bit integer, you can use for example this random = 25173*previous + 13849; but I don't know how good it is; start with an arbitrary (...)
