I installed leJOS, got it up and running, then read on the sourceforge site a support question about the rotation sensor, so I decided to test it out. Does anyone know the correct maximum sampling rate for the Lego rotation sensor? This morning I noticed that Dave Baum gives a value of 1250 RPM in his "Definitive Guide" (page 29), but looking at (URL) see a value of 500 RPM. Which is correct? (...) Hehehehe... I have to laugh, Brian. Other people have told you that it is a "Brick Separator", and it is extremely useful. The part I am having problems with is the dark-grey "foot pedal" looking part. Does anyone know what this is called or what it's used for? This has been the single biggest mystery to me since I bought the RIS kit over a year ago. (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
