I purchased Vision Command tonight from Target. I must say I'm rather impressed with what I've seen so far. I bought VC mainly for its applications with RIS so that is what this post will focus on. I just installed the software for Vision Command. VC uses the 2.0 firmware. I have not had any problems with the 2.0 firmware on my RCX 1.0 brick (from the RIS 1.5 set). According to Mindstorms tech support the 2.0 firmware is final . The only thing (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I was at a Train Show (PNLTC) this last weekend with my RCX Train and would have LOVED to have been able to have a portable unit for programing in NQC or making small changes... Hey, everybody. There is a new HOWTO version available. It doesn't contain anything groundshaking, except that it does (finally) incorporate an updated version of demo.c. Greetings! I hope theese groups are the right ones for questions like this. I want to program/control my RCX or Control Lab, from my CE device.
