Has anyone put together a website of a side-by-side comparison of the different programming environments for the RCX and their capabilities? i'm giving a series of workshops for professors and some of them are asking me about nqc, etc. but i haven't (...) It is amazing this was mentioned just now. I just started reading chapter 6:pbForth of Knudsen's book with the hopes of learning to use my Palm to interact with the RCX. I don't know Forth at all. (...) This is by Neal Bridges, another backwards Canadian!!!! I use Quartus on my Palm, and it's really cool. I've been wandering through the kernal comparing it to similar kernals I have known or written, trying to understand the design choices. It appears that task are only switched at the 1ms timer interrupt and at yield() function call. yield() is only (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
