  Using LEGO active sensors

I would like to use my LEGO active light sensors with the HB. Has anyone done this without purchasing the commercial expansion board? Can anyone recommend a good way to proceed? Thanks. Jim (25 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
