  Temporary solution for W2000, but not Notebook
 
This is essentially a status report telling what I've come up with as a partial solution to to running the Handy Board in our new environment. I have mounted the IS1U60 infrared demodulator on to the HB but I have realised that it can only recieve from a particular direction. Hi, I built up a handyboard and most of it works great! testmotor passes, testdigitals passes, even the infrared remote detects and trnasmitts fine! (...) The Expansion Board has inputs specifically for Lego sensors. In particular, I've used the rotation sensor and it works fine. Hi, I was wanting to create a robot that has controlled though a wireless remote controll type of device, is this possiable with the handyboard or an extrenel device (for communications) that feeds the hand board the information? Does any one know how much current the ZTX614 NPN Darlington transistor (Q1 - IR output driver) can handle. I am wondering whether I can use this to driver a total of 5 IR leds, either in parallel or series. The indicator led circuitry that goes in (...) Hi all, I am using the free version of IC (2.860 BETA). I have some trouble with the assignment expression abbreviation, i.e. count += 2;. I was wondering if it is possible to print non-alphanumeric characters on the display, such as the heart that is used as the heart beat display. Is this just one of the normal ascii characters ? There's not much that can be done. IC 3.2 doesn't run on Win 3.1. Your choices are: * upgrade your laptop to W95. * downgrade your use of IC to the freeware version on all of your machines. I can run the freeware version fine, my problem is the programming functionality that has been added to 3.2 that is not in the freeware version (the interface does not matter too much as once the hb is programmed it does not need the pc connection).
