| A 470 microfarad electrolytic capacitor across the power leads to the sonar board will probably fix your problem. You can get a lot of current really fast out of one of those things. | Hi.. I have a problem with ultrasonic sonar power supply, hope anyone can help me.. thanks.. I run my sonar well with the exp. board using transformer, but i failed to run it together with 2 sharp GP2D02 IR, i think may due to 2.5A surge of the (...) | Jan, Do you have the expansion board? If so, have you tried removing it and seeing if the display works on the Handy Board by itself? What makes you think the display is damaged? What are the symptoms? Does IC still work, even though the display is (...) (27 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
