| Well, in my quest for new and neat things to add to my robot, I've decided to start exploring IR transmission. | RE: Attached processors... I have considered different ways of refining PWM speed controls on the HB, and have decided to try adding another 'HC11, and use the PWM code example in the Handbook. | (...) Or use the 32-bit Hitachi SH7032 microcontroller. An evaluation board sells for only $100 (I bought mine from Marshall Industries). | Already serveral ideas have been mentioned on processor upgrades. Instead of such a quantum jump, why not instead a small bunt. ie. Motorola has recently announced availability of the 68HC12. | (...) That's how I've been doing it. I'm still having trouble turning. I partially solved the problem by applying some belt dressing (from my local Kragen auto parts store :-) to the treads, which helps some with the grinding I get from the drive (...)
