I just got my hands on an electric wheelchair for $20... any ideas? Has anyone interfaced a wheelchair to a handyboard before? For my team project, we have to construct a robot which is able to learn a maze and then find the quickest way to navigate through it. I was thinking of only use infrared (...) One manufacturer of such a device is Fascinating Electronics of Oregon. They make a device that hooks to your serial port, you send it "commands" and it answers.
