  Controlling Parallel Port Pins
 
This is kinda off the HB topic, sorry. How do you control the individual output states of the parallel port pins? Hi John, It depends on what kind of circuit your infrared sensors are in. An infrared diode or transistor can not be hooked directly into the HB. Hi Rajbala, in germany i can get this sensor from "Conrad Electronic". The Sensor is produced from Sharp. It is a very interesting sensor, because it is cheap (ca. 16,00$) It is possible to measure distances between 8-80cm, with a accuracy from (...) Hi all, With Jon Howell's help, we now have available a new version of IC pcode which fixes the intermittent floating point divide problem. Somebody already did part of the job. If you go to (URL) you can download a pcode source for a road warrior kind of robot with some "corrections to the floating point math library to produce correct results for several previously buggy operations". Dear Richard and Javaid, I have assigned a programmer to track down the floating point divide problem, and will keep you posted on its resolution.   Sharp IR-Distance Sensor GP2D02
